Who Can Sell on AFIA
AFIA is open to:
Established businesses
Growing brands
Independent makers and producers
Authorized retailers and distributors
We welcome sellers who are committed to:
Honest representation
Consistent product availability
Long-term customer trust
AFIA is not a peer-to-peer resale platform.
Brand Ownership & Authorization
Sellers may list:
Products under their own brand
Products from other brands only if they are legally authorized to do so
If You Do Not Own the Brand:
You must:
Be an authorized reseller, retailer, or distributor
Sell genuine, new, and legally sourced products
Provide proof of authorization or authenticity if requested
AFIA does not allow:
Counterfeit or replica products
Unauthorized resale of branded goods
Arbitrage, personal resale, or sourcing from informal marketplaces
AFIA reserves the right to request documentation at any time to verify brand authorization.
Product Quality & Accuracy
All listings must:
Accurately represent the product
Use clear descriptions and images
Reflect the actual condition, size, and features of the item
Misleading listings, false claims, or deceptive pricing practices are not permitted.
Product Availability & Inventory Standards
AFIA prioritizes sellers who offer consistent and reliable availability.
To maintain a high-quality marketplace:
Products should be available for ongoing sale
One-off or single-quantity resale listings are generally not approved
Sellers should be able to restock items within a reasonable timeframe
Limited or seasonal products may be approved on a case-by-case basis with clear disclosure.
AFIA may request additional details to confirm supply consistency, especially for branded or high-demand products.
Pricing & Fair Selling
Sellers must:
Set fair and transparent prices
Clearly communicate any fees, taxes, or shipping costs
Avoid deceptive discounts or inflated pricing
Price manipulation or misleading promotions are not allowed.
Ethical & Responsible Products
AFIA promotes responsible trade and ethical business practices.
Products must:
Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Avoid prohibited, harmful, or unethical items
Be honestly represented in terms of origin, ingredients, or materials
Sellers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Marketplace Conduct
Sellers are expected to:
Communicate respectfully with customers
Fulfill orders within stated timelines
Handle returns, issues, and disputes professionally
Poor conduct, repeated complaints, or failure to meet obligations may result in review or removal from the platform.
Review, Approval & Ongoing Monitoring
All sellers and products are reviewed before approval
Approval is not guaranteed
AFIA reserves the right to:
Request additional information
Suspend or remove listings
Revoke seller access for guideline violations
