All products listed on AFIA must be fully halal-compliant.
Products containing non-halal ingredients, alcohol, or non-halal animal-derived components are strictly prohibited.
Product Eligibility & Legality
Products must be legal to sell in the United States and comply with applicable regulations for their category.
Ingredient & Material Transparency
All ingredients, materials, and components must be clearly disclosed on the product page, especially for consumable, topical, health, or personal care products.
Accurate Product Representation
Products must match their descriptions, images, specifications, and stated use. Misleading visuals or claims are not permitted.
Prohibited & Restricted Products
Products that are unsafe, harmful, illegal, deceptive, or conflict with AFIA’s marketplace standards are not allowed.
Product Condition & Quality
Products must be new, safe, and suitable for customer use unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., made-to-order or digital products).
Authenticity of Products
Products must be genuine and lawfully sourced. Counterfeit, imitation, or unauthorized items are strictly prohibited.
Packaging, Labeling & Instructions
Products must be packaged appropriately and include clear labeling, usage instructions, and warnings where applicable.
Category-Specific Requirements
Certain product categories may have additional requirements based on safety, compliance, or marketplace standards.
Product Review & Enforcement
AFIA reserves the right to review, restrict, or remove products that do not meet these Product Rules.
